Taqueria El Carrizal

Tucked away on a corner in Union Square of Allston, come to Taqueria El Carrizal for traditional Central American. The Combinacion Salvadorena comes with pupusa, chicken tamal (tamale) and an enchilada. The pupusa is the highlight with a blend of textures in the baked tortilla stuffed with flavorful chicken. The Salvadorean enchilada is reminiscent of a tostada with cubed chicken, guacamole, sour cream, and shredded lettuce. The chicken tamal is hearty and pleasant with a mix of masa (corn flour), chicken and peppers.
