Brighton convenience store with incredibly flavorful Mexican/Latin American fare. Order at the counter. Friendly service. Try some tacos or maybe a plate. The meats and fish are marinated beautifully. Take it to go or a few tables in the back. Purchase some of these marinated meats to cook at home.
Three hefty tacos come with order. Wrapped inside a thin corn tortilla, the meat is the highlight. Shredded brisket is juicy with plenty of creamy red cabbage slaw, guacamole sauce, salsa verde, and queso fresco (cheese). The sweetness of the slaw pairs well with the umami elements of the meat. Cajun tilapia exceeds expectations. Buttery moist tilapia with a grilled cajun coating. Just enough spice to bite with Ancho ranch sauce topped pico de gallo. Served with rice (pick yellow) and mixed vegetables. One of the best fish dishes around!
