Located on Centre Street in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. Order at the counter to take out/sit in the restaurant. Incredibly fresh rotisserie chicken - generously spiced skin with moist meat. The half chicken combination plate (combo Dominicano) is served with two sides. Platano maduro (fried sweet plantains) are delightful and moro de guandules (yellow rice with peas) compliments the chicken and plantains for the ideal sweet and savory combination. Great deal! The namesake chimis are the ultimate comfort food - a cross between a Cuban sandwich and a fast food hamburger. Heavy on the ketchup and mayo. Lots of sautéed onions. Meaty goodness. Crispy bread, hints of garlic.
