Moroccan Hospitality Restaurant
Relaxing and colorful atmosphere. Recently relocated from Malden to Somerville. Bread is served with an olive and chickpea spread, kin to an olive tapenade mixed with hummus. Order some mint tea and enjoy the tajines.
Brania is served piping hot with a delicate mix of braised beef, eggplant, saffron, garlic, preserved lemon in a ginger sauce. The beef is tender and pairs well with the eggplant as the eggplant almost blends into the meat.
M-Rouzia is sweet and savory, braised lamb (on the bone) with a sauce of juicy raisins, sesame seeds, toasted large nuts, saffron, and Moroccan spices. The dish is hearty and delicious.
