Pho Viet's

A trip to Super 88 in Allston is always a delight. One could escape from the rush of hungry college students in a bowl of pho at aptly named Pho Viet's. The noodle soup with beef is very traditional yet the chicken soup is perfectly comforting. It is always fun (and tasty) to add lots of sriracha to the broth but do taste first on its own. The bowls of pho are incredibly large. The highlight is, however, the banh mi sandwich. While these sandwiches have become somewhat of a craze over the years, Pho Viet's is an original. Served with perfectly crunchy French bread and the tangy mix of meat (pick pork), pickled vegetables and cilantro. There is no going back to ordinary sandwiches after a bite.
